Our philosophy.

We didn't grow up in farming families, but over the years we have had the privilege of observing farmers. I (Mike) worked on dairy, chicken, hog and turkey farms in and around Grunthal in my teen years to make some spending money. Later, Carolyn and I had the privilege of working in a very different situation with a group of subsistence farmers in Bolivia, South America.

All these experiences have taught us to appreciate doing things the way nature intended even if they take longer or cost more. We know that food grown this way will taste better and be more nutrient dense. It is important to us to be conscious about what we feed our family and how we treat the planet. We believe this is all part of Living Well, thus the name of our farm. What is even more important to us is the "living water" from Jesus' well that He offers to anyone who is "thirsty" in order to meet our deepest longings. God offers us the opportunity of Living Well too.

We always have an open door to show you around the farm and answer any questions you might have!
